My sustainability promise
Empowering you to make your style greener
-
✽ I encourage my clients to buy forever pieces. Not 5 wears, not 30 wears. The aim is forever pieces, regardless of budget (and keeping within budget).
-
✽ We all make mistakes, including myself. My clients and I use secondhand selling websites and reselling shops. I actively encourage and recommend this. If a piece they buy doesn't work or they no longer want to keep it, or it no longer fits then we work out where best to send it to keep it in the circular economy.
-
✽ Tailoring is a big part of their wardrobe edit and a key part of the outfit building process that I do with my clients. I recommend everything from letting waist bands out, to nipping areas in, to adding detail to collars and cuffs, to changing buttons, to altering hem lengths, to changing neck lines.
-
✽ When I put together stylised looks for my clients in their lookbooks, many items are secondhand.
-
✽ I shop with some of my clients in secondhand stores and charity shops
-
✽ I talk to clients about extending the life of their clothes and the importance of following the care instructions on the labels.
